Dwight Johnson and Capone's Restaurant & Live Jazz Club executive chef, Rick Momsen.Momsen's culinary career spans 12 years. Prior to taking on the position at Capone's, he worked abroad extensively. The menu at Capone's has gone from primarily pizza and pasta to gourmet meals and appetizers, thanks to Momsen's creativity. The upscale Yaletown crowd that often visits the restaurant appreciates the selection now offered. Soon there will be even more choice. "We're expanding the seating from 100 to 240, including the patio and extra dining room. We usually change the menu quarterly, but there will also be a big change with our expansion. I'm going to take it up one more level, but the prices will stay the same," says Momsen. "It's going to be really great when everything is completed." |
