The Village Cheese Company entered several of the Village Cheese Flavours in the cheese show at Spencerville, Ontario.
The entries and winners where;
- Village Mild White - 1st place
- Village Mild Coloured - 1st place
- Village Medium White - 1st place
- Village Medium Coloured - 1st place
- Village Aged 1 year old - 1st place
- Village Aged 2 year old - 2nd place
- Village Marble - 1st place
- Village Colby - 1st place
- Village butter & beer - 2nd place

VILLAGE CHEESE WINS MORE AWARDS
At the December, 2000 British Empire Cheese Show --- The Village Cheese Company repeated their award winning cheesemaking techniques.Village Stilton Medium was first in it's class as was Village Extra-Aged Cheddar. The Extra-Aged Cheddar was also judged Reserve Grand Champion, second highest in the entire show.
In the specialty class of cheese, Village Washed Curd Monteray was first. Village Canadian Maple Cheddar and Village Smoked Cheddar where second in their class.
